“ The food here at Won Jo Kokerang Agurang is absolutely delicious. The restaurant was a little bit hard to notice, but eventually we were able to spot it. (It is located across the street from the pink building and next to a small plaza). They do have parking in the back, but I wasn't able to locate it so I ended up parking nearby elsewhere. Didn't get a chance to look at the menu, because the person I came with already ordered by the time I came back from the restroom. We ordered one of the combos and started off with a platter of assorted seafood. The quality of the seafood is very fresh, they have a tank in front of their store that contains all their fish and other sea creatures in order to maintain their freshness. The combo we had ordered came with assorted seafood, flounder, assorted fried seafood/veggies, spicy seafood soup which was enough to feed our party of 3. If you come at night, I recommend bringing a jacket with you. We sat on one of the tables outside and it was a bit chilly while we were eating once it became dark. The quality and the service here are both 5 stars. ”
“ My friend and I were craving soy sauce raw crab and decided to check this place out. The restaurant kind of reminded me of Korea and all the family owned restaurants there. Prices are a little high but it's worth trying if you're feeling for some soy sauce marinated crab. The side dishes that came along were also very delicious! They also served us a free corn cheese as an appetizer, which was really nice. ”
“ Won Jo Kokerang Agurang is a restaurant in the Korea town area of LA. Yesterday was chilly cold all day and I wanted something tasty, healthy and filling...I had bouillabaisse in mind. Bouillabaisse, as you may well know, is a classic Provençal seafood stew from the French port city of Marseilles. Here, I ordered the Korean Spicy Seafood Soup. It was presented in a hugh bowl, noodles, and assortment of seafood topped this hot spicy broth. The condiments: sliced raw onions, a dark salty paste and pickled sliced yellow radish. This Korean version is very good, but the flavors are not close to bouillabaisse, as it lacked lobster and more importantly the Provençal herbs, which makes that soup exceptional and excellent. It was served volcanic hot and medium spicy, I added chili sauce and red pepper flakes to amp up the heat...what can say, I like it super hot. This soup was delicious and tasted healthy, I felt the miraculous wonders curing me. This restaurant specializes in this soup and other soups, with other topping/flavorings: beef, chicken, pork, fish balls ... We also ordered a side of shrimp tempura and mini crab cakes, but they were so good, we ate them so quickly upon waiting for the soup, which took a bit time longer to prepare. Everyone dining here ordered the same seafood spicy soup. The staff were all Korean and spoke little English, but with the help of the pictures in the menu, helped with the ordering process, just point at the picture and indicate with your fingers how many you want, easy. The restaurant was nice, and we chose this restaurant for its nicer ambiance. This is the restaurant for this special soup, and the portion is very generous, enough to be shared. Would recommend. ”
